Blink-182 headlined a show with a bunch of great bands, including Against Me (known for tracks like "Thrash Unreal", "Teenage Anarchist", and "White Crosses" and I got to be there to interview their bass player with CFBX. Check out the audio interview under the Demos page.

With the NHL lockout continuing, Kevin Bieksa and Ryan Kesler with the help of Cabbie from TSN, organized an unexpected road hockey game and let anyone with a stick play a shift. These two players are fantastic examples of athletes who get involved with their community. The game was played at a small outdoor rink just underneath the Cambie street bridge, and about 100 people were there to watch.

VanArts Food Drive Morning Show, December 12, 2012
The faculty of VanArts organized a food drive to benefit the Vancouver Food Bank and had delicious Christmas goodies for anyone who donated. Those of us in the Broadcasting department quizzed other students and staff on some food bank trivia and awarded correct answers with Tim Hortons gift cards. It was a great morning and a great way to celebrate the holidays and collect food for a great cause.
